Ammonium oxidizing bacteria
Takazumi Ammofix is a cocktail of ammonium oxidizing bacteria (AOB) and enzymes that convert the ammonia produced by the heterotrophic bacteria into nitrite and then converted into the harmless nitrate by the nitrite oxidizing bacteria (NOB) in the Takazumi Nitrifix.
Use Ammofix for start-up and every spring on day 1 and day 6 (25 ml per 1,000 liters of pond water). Use Takazumi Nitrifix on day 4 and day 14. For maintenance: 25 ml Ammofix per 1,000 liters of pond water per month. With increased ammonia value: 25 ml per 1000 liters of pond water per day, to a value of <0.5 mg / liter.
